We built an agent system that reads construction plans, detects sales signals and assembles a finished quote in minutes via the in-house CRM. Two weeks down to ten minutes. Along the way, a product-data assistant for the sales team emerged, because no one could quickly find the right specification in hundreds of data sheets.
The real hurdle wasn't the AI. Microsoft's Copilot interpreted the product table as running text rather than structured data, which led to wrong results. Only once we moved the data into a Dataverse structure and connected it cleanly did it work.
